Josh Keyes is an artist that I look up to. He was born in Tacoma, Washington. He currently lives in Portland, Oregon. In 1988 he graduated from Yale and went on to pursuit his dream job of being an artist.
The paintings that are posted are called NP Entangle 2, and NP Burst. Both are oil paintings and are done at a very large scale.
Josh Keyes studied computer graphics and modern art, which is evident in the art that is shown.

ReplyDeleteHis work has an interesting effect, I believe they are magazine cut outs? Or incredible painting techniques? I would like to know more about the paintings. His art shows numerous amount of color and abstract figures. Love abstract!
ReplyDeleteNo its not magazine cut outs, these are pictures of real canvases. The actual sizes are of the canvases are 30x40 foot paintings. All oil by the way, he truly is a phenomenal artist.
